Online Fast and Quick Cash Loan Until Payday In Advance
by salome sides - Monday, 10 March 2008, 06:34 AM
Anyone in the world

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Keith_Kingston]Keith Kingston This means that we have to think of ways that we can get money online, and this can easily be done by going on Google and checking out the options. The facts are that companies are willing to let you borrow money as long as you pay them it back plus interest. Let me give you an example of what this means, if you owe me $100 and you are going to pay me it back in 1 years time with 5% APR then you will owe me $105 in total. However with a secure instant cash advance approval this amount is a lot higher because you are borrowing small amounts of money over short periods of time. Here is a typical example of an online fast and quick cash loan until payday in advance. Alan hops online and types payday cash loan into Google, and up pops loads of options down the left, and right margins. Alan clicks on one and fills out the online form, he finds out that as long as he pays the loan back he gets to keep his house, and If he doesnt then he may loose his home and his car! He is going to borrow $1000 for month and finds out that this is going to cost 2.5% a week. How much will he have to pay back in total? He will have to pay back (2.5*4/1000) + 1000 = $1100 in total. That means that his loan cost $100 less inflation as a percentage of 100 for the week. That is why Alan needs to consider if he has other, cheaper options. Marching Ants
by salome sides - Monday, 10 March 2008, 02:55 AM
Anyone in the world

By Josh Riverside Marching ant effect is an animated technique in Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro or GIMP that is identified by a moving dotted line border along a selected image. Marching ant technique is also known as marquee selection. Since the moving dotted line looks like a number of ants marching along the border, hence, the name marching ants was given. The marching ant effect helps the user identify the selected image by animating the border. The marching ant technique was developed by Bill Atkinson and was first implemented on Mac Paint formerly known as Mac Sketch. Bill Atkinson developed this technique in the year 1983 when he was trying to add more tools to the palette of Mac Sketch, the graphic application software of Macintosh. He was successful in adding a lot of tools to the software like, a rectangular selection tool and paint bucket tool. He wanted to develop a selection program. Bill Atkinson got his inspiration of developing the selection program of the marching ant technique from a Hamm's Beer Sign board at an old beer and hamburger joint in Los Gatos. The signboard featured an animated waterfall and Bill realized that an animated border similar to this technique could solve the problem, as it would be easier to identify the selected image with the animated border no matter what the background was. Bill Atkinson then developed an animation by using alternating sequence of patterns of black and white, which looked like ants marching around the selected image. Marching ant technique is very useful when the user has to change or provide a different effect to one or more images in the picture. It identifies this image and with the help of other tools the user can change or alter the appearance of a selected image without disturbing the background of the original image. With the help of the marching ant technique one can alter, create, manipulate and enhance digital image files including photographs, computer generated images and scanned images. Ants provides detailed information on Ants, Fire Ants, Carpenter Ants, Ant Farms and more. Ants is affiliated with Cave Crickets. Getting the Fat on Fatty Acids
by salome sides - Sunday, 9 March 2008, 07:30 AM
Anyone in the world

By Shawn Messonnier Fatty acids are among the most commonly used nutritional supplements used in treating dogs and cats. Fortunately, they have been used successfully long enough that most conventional veterinarians include their usage in the treatment of at least some diseases. This article will discuss our current knowledge of fatty acids and present some new ideas for their usage in treating our pets. Medicinal fatty acids are divided into omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. In general, omega-6 fatty acids tend to promote inflammation, whereas omega-3 fatty acids act to reduce inflammation. As such, omega-3 fatty acids are used in diseases in which anti-inflammatory activity is needed. The fatty acids can substitute for medications such as corticosteroids in the treatment of inflammation. The most commonly used supplements that provide fatty acids are fish oil and flax seed oil. While flax seed oil contains more omega-3s than fish oil, the omega-3s found in flax seed oil are in an inactive form. The omega-3s found in fish oil are in an active form. In research studies, fish oil has shown positive benefits in helping people and pets with disease, whereas flax seed oil has not been as beneficial. For this reason, fish oil is generally recommended as the omega-3 fatty acid supplement of choice. The active omega-3s, (eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)) are derived from fish oils of coldwater fish (salmon, trout, or most commonly menhaden fish.) Also called linseed oil, flaxseed oil is derived from the seeds of the flax plant and has been proposed as a less smelly alternative to fish oil. Flaxseed oil contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA,) an omega-3 fatty acid that is ultimately converted to EPA and DHA. In fact, flax seed oil contains higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids (ALA) than fish oil. It also contains omega-6 fatty acids. Similar to the situation with fish oil, pets with inflammatory diseases may respond to supplementation with flax seed oil. However, many species of pets (probably including dogs and cats) and some people cannot efficiently convert ALA to the more active non-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA.) In one study in people, flax seed oil was ineffective in reducing symptoms or raising levels of EPA and DHA. In pets with kidney disease, flax seed oil was not as effective as fish oil. While flaxseed oil has been suggested as a substitute for fish oil, there is no evidence that it is effective when used for the same therapeutic purposes as fish oil. Unlike the case for fish oil, there is little evidence that flax seed oil is effective for any specific therapeutic purpose with the following exceptions. Flax seed oil can improve the coat and skin of pets. Also, the lignans contained in flax seed oil may have anti-cancer benefits. Fish oil supplementation may be helpful for pets with inflammatory diseases including allergies, arthritis, kidney disease, heart disease, and cancers. People with diabetes may have fatty acid derangement and require supplementation; this may also be true in pets. Fish oil has demonstrated benefits in people and pets with allergies, kidney disease, and heart disease. It has also shown benefits as an anti-depressant in people with mild depression. Fish oil appears to have benefits in pets with arthritis as well. Pets with any type of inflammatory disease may benefit from fish oil supplementation. In general, more severe disease requires doses higher than those commonly recommended and often additional supplements are necessary as fish oil is not often useful as the only supplement. Fish oil is very effective in some pets with allergic skin disease. It is easy to administer (via gel caps or liquid) and can reduce the amount of corticosteroid or antihistamine needed to control itching. The response is variable in other diseases (such as kidney disease) but fish oil appears effective in research studies. In pets with some types of cancer, fish oil has slowed down the growth and spread of the cancer. While more studies are needed on other types of cancer, the general recommendation is to add fish oil to the diets of all pets with cancer. In my opinion, any pet may benefit from fatty acid supplementation. While we dont always have hard proof that they work in every case, the science is there to show how they work and suggest their usage any time inflammation may be a problem. In most pets in my practice, fatty acid supplementation forms the baseline of supplements that I use, adding other supplements as dictated by clinical response or the nature of the disease. While there is concern about the contamination of fish meat with environmental contaminants such as mercury, this concern does not apply to fish oil. Supplementation with fish oil can result in decreased levels of vitamin E; therefore, fish oil supplements have extra vitamin E added to them. A is true with many supplements, your veterinarian may have favorite supplements that he will sell you or recommend to you. Pet owners are cautioned against buying supplements without knowledge of the manufacturer, as supplements are not highly regulated and some supplements may not contain the labeled amount of fish oil. Safety Fish oil supplementation is very safe. The most common side effect seen in people and pets is a fish odor to the breath or the skin. Because fish oil has a mild blood-thinning effect, it should not be combined with powerful blood-thinning medications, such as Coumadin (warfarin) or heparin, except on a veterinarian's advice. Fish oil does not seem to cause bleeding problems when it is taken by itself at commonly recommended dosages. In people, high doses of fish oil (4 grams or more each day) when combined with ginkgo biloba has caused serious bleeding problems. Fish oil does not appear to raise blood sugar levels in people or pets with diabetes despite earlier concerns about this. Flax oil does not appear to cause blood thinning. In my practice, Ive never seen any side effects and I use a lot of fatty acids. Very rarely, I have had a few of my canine patients smell fishy. This side effect goes away as the dosage is lowered. While many owners worry about giving extra fat to their pets, especially in cases where the pet is overweight, take comfort. Fatty acid supplements contain only a handful of calories and supplementation is unlikely to hurt any pet on a diet. Tip In studies done in people and pets, dosages much higher than label doses are needed to achieve results. As a rule, I try to start with 2-4 times the label dose when treating diseases and adjust the dose depending upon the pets response. I use the label dose when recommending fatty acids as a coat or skin supplement. Fatty acid therapy is becoming a part of our mainstream therapy for many pet disorders, In general, fish oil is preferred to flax oil as it contains the more active omega-3s. To get the best results, dosages higher than those on the label are needed and in most cases, fish oil should be combined with other supplements for maximum effectiveness. How To Easily Create Your Very Own Fleece Blanket
by salome sides - Sunday, 9 March 2008, 06:18 AM
Anyone in the world

By Gregg Hall Polar fleece blankets evoke images of feeling cozy and warm on a cold winter's night. While many people feel it is too time consuming to make a blanket, a person who enjoys crafting will find this project enjoyable. You can make a polar fleece blanket providing you have a little time and talent to spare. Surprisingly, you do not even need to sew. Fleece does not unravel. Cheaper quality fleeces may pill (shed fuzz balls) but it will never unravel. You can make a polar fleece blanket with only the fabric and a good pair of scissors. It truly is that simple. Start by selecting a high quality fleece. Look for a fleece that is thick, tightly woven, and does not show signs of shedding into small balls of fuzz. Typically, a good quality fleece will cost between $15 and $20. Shopping online can save you money because there are many stores competing with each other. They want your business and will drastically cut prices to ensure they get it. Choose enough fabric to match the desired length of the blanket. If you will be using it on the bed, allow for overhang that can be tucked in on each side and near the foot end of the bed. Generally add ten to twelve inches onto the length and width of your bed. If you will be adding fringe to your blanket, plan to add an additional twelve inches to the blanket's top, bottom, and side dimensions. Once you have purchased your fabric, turn it upside down on a large table or on the surface of the floor. Trim the edges of the fabric so that they are even. If you planned to create a blanket without fringing, you are done. Otherwise, use a yardstick and a fabric pen and start drawing horizontal lines about six inches from each edge of the blanket. Next, draw vertical lines down from the horizontal lines. Space these lines about to of an inch apart depending on your personal preference. Continue this process until every edge has vertical lines from the main line to the edge. Using fabric shears, cut along each edge. Continue cutting until you have fringe on each side. For a whimsical feel for any child or infant's blanket, use the zig zagged pinking shears. A polar fleece blanket is the easiest "sewing" project in the universe. It is an excellent craft project for children of all ages, as no needle is required. A cozy fleece blanket can be a thoughtful, easy gift for any occasion. Beat a winter's chill by having a fleece blanket on hand. The best part is that you can tell everyone that you made it yourself. Gregg Hall is an author living in Navarre Beach, Florida. Three Tiers of Love - How to Create a Natural Love Filled Relationship
by salome sides - Saturday, 8 March 2008, 10:52 AM
Anyone in the world

By Christopher Walker The Three Tiers of Relationships 1/ Friendship 2/ Love 3/ Relationship Whether you are single and looking for love, or double and going through challenges in love, there is can be great advantage in understanding how relationships work, and a foolproof way of dealing with challenges in them. Going through relationship challenges, the key is not to react. Learn to let go.
Love really is a non attachment. To love someone or something is to release it. Let them be themselves. To love a child is to release your expectations of them. To love your partner means unconditional. No matter where they are, no matter what they do, no matter what they did or didnt do. You love them. This is the truth In times of challenge, go to the bleachers. Go sit in peace, if you release the bird, and it doesnt return, it wasnt yours. Let Karma play its hand. Dont push and shove learn to love. You can gain allot of confidence in karma if you know you have done your best. By following the guidance of Sacred Love book, you know you are not the cause and therefore, you can trust Karma. Let the universe do what it must. Lay down your weapons. Trust Karma If you grab you are interfering. If you reject you are interfering. Hold your space and deal with the emotions as they come up, without reaction or action. Hold the space of love, trust, that if you stay in this space, then Karma will play its hand. All relationships must be founded on three things. The ground must be solid and built on friendship. If there is friendship, then, the worst outcome of a fall from love is a beautiful place with a person we want to care for and love. So if there is drama, hold your lover as a friend. Offer friendship as an alternative to relationship. If you cant be friends with someone you want to be in a relationship with, then you have been revealed as a phoney. Friendship means to wish for someone's happiness and to do what you can to help them. If you cant be a friend to someone, how can you have a relationship with them? This is the base layer that needs to be real genuine and solid. In other words if you wouldnt be a friend of the person you are in a relationship with (if there was no relationship) then, really your relationship is killing you both. The second tier, once friendship is established, is love. This sort of Love must be unconditional love. To love means to release and hold at the same time. Love is the willingness to let the bird fly and know if it is meant to be yours, it will return. This is the second tier. To know how to hold love for someone even if they dont want relationship with you is the gift of Innerwealth. Love is not a condition that is placed on someone. Unconditional love, the foundation for REAL relationships has no IF. There is no IF. There is no condition for the love that underpins a relationship. Love is the foundation from which the emotional and physical and conditional experience of relationship can grow. If you or your partner cannot understand this concept of unconditional love, then all that is built in relationship is temporary. Love must, in its purest form, be unconditional The third tier is the relationship. A relationship that is based on friendship, motivated by love, has no where bad to fall. The worst that can happen is that you might end up holding love for a person you like, but dont have control over them. Relationship is the cream on the cake, the self satisfaction of a dynamic between two humans. Emotional. material, experiential and personal a wonderful expression of all that underpins it. A relationship with someone is the crown, but it cannot be allowed to exist in the absence of a willingness to be a friend, and to love (therefore release) unconditionally. Relationship can come and go, but the willingness for friendship and love, are the truth that lives beneath it. Always know that the worst that can come, if relationship is lost, is that you get to love someone you like, but now, just cant control. To be a good friend, youll need to have a sense that your dreams, hopes and ambitions are your own. They are portable, adaptable and transferable. If they dont manifest in the company of one person, they will manifest in the company of others. Relationships are not there to cause your dreams to manifest. Relationships are a part of the process. Trust nature in this. Let her guide you, learn to adapt to the changing tides of life. Hold your dreams and purpose sacred, allow nature some hand in the dynamics through which they manifest. To know love, unconditional love, is to understand the difference between your expectations and your love. People can reject your expectations they cannot reject your love. Hold your love cantered in your heart. Know that you can never stop loving someone you can only put your mind in the way. Practice this as instructed in Innerwealth The book of love. Relationship must be seen as the bubbles in the Champaign, the icing on the cake, the cream. The crown. Relationships built on friendship and love, are places of celebration. There is a health independence as only friends know. There is a healthy perspective, as only unconditional love can produce. There is a willingness to dance and struggle as only the provocation and intimacy of a relationship can create. This is relationship built on friendship, sustained by innerwealth, celebrated in intimacy. Why A Positive Attitude Helps In Coping With Arthritis Pain - Part 1
by salome sides - Saturday, 8 March 2008, 09:28 AM
Anyone in the world

By Cathy Posner Think Positive To Relieve Arthritis Pain. My name is Cathy Posner and I live in Wauchope which is on
the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. I was
born in 1957 and in late 2004 was told that the aches in my
joints were Rheumatoid Arthritis. My husband, Ray has a very positive approach to everything
and I guess that has rubbed off on me, so rather than sit
back and let things progress I decided to see what I could
do for myself. Let me give you an example of Rays positive attitude. In
September 2003 he had to have open heart surgery to replace
his aortic valve. We live on 160 acres so before he went
into hospital he slashed a walking track so that he could
regularly exercise when he came out of hospital. Not only that he left the tractor set up for slashing. Four
weeks after surgery, even though he was not allowed to lift
anything heavier that a 2 liter bottle of milk (about 4
pints) he got the OK to slash the paddocks as long as he did
big easy turns at the end of each run. (Actually I think he
secretly enjoyed having me open the car door for him and
carry the groceries.) So, as you can see, in his mind there was no way that he
wasnt going to get back to a normal life as quickly as
possible, but within the guidelines of what the Doctors told
him. Now when you live with someone like that its hard not to
take a positive approach. How can having a positive attitude help you in your fight
against the pain and difficulties arthritis can cause? I know some of you already reading this have a positive
approach so please bear with me. As I was saying Rays positive attitude helped him in his
recovery. I dont know how much pain he was in but I can
imagine it was considerable. After all you dont have your
sternum sawn in half and rejoined without pain. In fact for some time he had to clutch a folded towel to his
chest whenever he coughed or went to the bathroom but he
never complained once. He just got on with life within the restraints set by the
Doctors and in fact even started a new business while he was
recovering. OK you might ask how does this relate to me? I know pain
can be an all consuming, overpowering feeling but you need
to get your mind off it. If you sit back and wallow in self-pity your days and nights
will drag, you will become depressed (or even more
depressed) and your pain feeds upon itself your mind
magnifies the intensity of your pain and you feel even
worse. If this describes you and my comments offend you then I am
sorry but hopefully what I am about to say will be a wake
up call for you. What are the benefits of having a positive attitude? Well to
start with your mind can be trained to focus on things other
that your pain. When it does, your pain is shut out creating
a sense of feeling better. This feeling feeds on itself in
the same way that if you allow yourself to focus on your
pain, it seems to get worse. Can you learn to have a positive attitude? Of course you
can. If you are still breathing you have the ability to
learn. And really it is not so much learning but altering
the state of your mind. All you need is the desire to help yourself, to get relief
from your pain and overcome obstacles that your arthritis
creates for you. May I suggest some things you can do? How is your lifestyle? Do you look after yourself? Your
wellbeing is very important to how you feel and
influences how you think. Diet and Exercise are important to your overall health. If
you are not eating correctly and doing some exercise within
your limits, you are not helping yourself in your fight to get
arthritis pain relief. To read more about diet, foods that can help, foods to
avoid and to get some great tips on getting started with
exercise simply click on the link at the end of this article
and then follow the links on the home page. I recommend you read a book on Positive Thinking. There
are some excellent publications available and most will give
you the tools you need. Sit down and relax. Think back to when you didnt have the
inconvenience and pain of arthritis. Pick a point in time
when you were doing something that you enjoyed. Now focus on that thing. Experience it again. Feel the
emotion associated with it. Live it. Breathe it. Be there
in your mind be that person that you were then. Do this 2 or 3 times a day for 5 to 10 minutes at a time.
Tip: if you sit down and find you go to sleep, try standing
up. This technique helps to reprogram your subconscious to think
pain free and you should find that your pain decreases or
may actually go away. You can also use this anytime your pain starts to get the
better of you. Just go back to that time when you were pain
free and allow your mind to again experience that feeling. This really works. But dont just do it once you must do
it every day, without fail and you will soon see the
benefits. Cathy Posner Cathy Posner is an arthritis sufferer and lives in Wauchope, New South Wales, Australia. Bound Together by the Golden Rule
by salome sides - Friday, 7 March 2008, 01:42 PM
Anyone in the world

By Susan Ryder "Every religion emphasizes human improvement, love, respect for others, sharing other people's suffering. On these lines every religion had more or less the same viewpoint and the same goal." The Dalai Lama If we take the worlds enduring religions at their best, we discover the distilled wisdom of the human race. Huston Smith The Rev. Scotty McLennan, author of the book "Finding Your Religion," compares humanitys innate need for spiritual searching to climbing a mountain. In his view we are all endeavoring to climb the same figurative summit where we hope to encounter the divine. We just take different paths to get there. In other words, even though the packaging may be different, the major religious traditions of the world have more in common than one might realize at first glance. For as the Dalai Lama noted, they share many of the same core values. For instance, most Christians are familiar with the Golden Rule, from the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31 In everything, do to others as you would have them do to you; for this is the law and the prophets. But Christianity isnt the only religion to profess this teaching. Notice how similarly it is expressed in other religions: Baha'i Faith Lay not on any soul a load that you would not wish to be laid upon you, and desire not for anyone the things you would not desire for yourself. Baha'u'llah, Gleanings Buddhism Treat not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful. The Buddha, Udana-Varga 5.18 Confucianism One phrase sums up the basis of all good conduct, loving kindness. Do not do to others what you do not want done to yourself. Confucius, Analects 15.23 Hinduism This is the sum of duty: do not do to others what would cause pain if done to you. Mahabharata 5:1517 Islam Not one of you truly believes until you wish for others what you wish for yourself. The Prophet Muhammad, Hadith Jainism One should treat all creatures in the world as one would like to be treated. Mahavira, Sutrakritanga Judaism What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbor. This is the whole Torah; all the rest is commentary. Hillel, Talmud, Shabbath 31a Taoism Regard your neighbor's gain as your own gain and your neighbor's loss as your own loss. T'ai Shang Kan Ying P'ien, 213-218 Isnt it amazing that so many religious traditions, all from different places and historical times, offer such a similar teaching? Whether one finds a path to God through Hinduism or Islam, Christianity or Bahai, this foundational belief is the same treat other people the same way you wish to be treated. I cant help but wonder how different the world would be if religious people realized that what we share in common is so vastly more important than the ways we differ. Because when we focus so much on our differences, we find ourselves divided, at odds with people who could easily be our friends and allies. Think about some of the issues that divide us, and how many are based on religious perceptions. Whether its a local dispute about what books are appropriate for high school students to read, a national debate on legalizing gay marriage, or ongoing violence between different religious groups the result is the same. We become polarized by our assumption that ours is the only valid truth, create a situation of us vs. them, and further alienate ourselves from one another. The Golden Rule shared by so many other traditions doesnt merely exhort us to kindly intentions toward people who are like us. It implies a universal application toward all others, including those of other religions, cultures, races, genders and sexual orientations, etc. And in order to practice this universal wisdom, we must take the risk of getting to know one another. Perhaps a good place to begin is with the realization that ultimately we are much more like those we seek to know as neighbors than we realize! By Gary Woods Theres been a lot written and said about how the numbers of Montecito Real Estate sales are off when you compare them to 2004. Since its always a good idea to stand back and get a little perspective to see where weve been I thought Id go back to 2000 and look at each subsequent year to today. Okay, so looking at Montecito Real Estate for 2000 from Jan. 1 through October 31 we see 196 sales with a median price of $1.54 million. The number of listings for the same time period was 282 with a median list price of $1.745. This means that the median sales price was about $200,000 below that of the median list price. For 2001 for the same time period sales were slightly slower with 145 properties closing escrow from 1/1 to 10/31. The median sales price was up ever so slightly to $1.565 million. The number of homes that came on the market for that time period was 335 with a median list price of $2.08. this means that the expectations of the sellers in 2001 increased but buyers restrained that enthusiasm keeping the selling prices almost flat from 00 to 01. So what happened in 2002 as far as sales were concerned? From 1/1 to 10/31 there were 183 houses that closed escrow. The median sales price at that time stayed pretty close to the 2001 level coming in at $1.72 million. The number of listings was 328 year to date for 2002 with a median list price of $2.25 million. That means from 2001 to 2002 sales and prices were increasing marginally. In Montecito Real Estate for 2003 the number of sales dipped slightly to 166 while the median sales price rose again to $1.92 million. The numbers of listings for that time period were up slightly at 339 and the median list price was about where it was in 2002 with a slight rise to $2.61 million. Moving into 2004 what happened? Well in 2004 at that time we had 175 sales with a median sales price of $2.39 million. So sales inched up from the previous year but the sales price moved up dramatically. On the listing side 312 properties came on the market and the median asking price zoomed up to $2.92 million. So both the sales and particularly the listing prices moved up. Now in 2005 where are we with Montecito Real Estate? Well sales are up by 4 from 2004 for a total of 179 and the median sales price is only slightly ahead at $2.58. The numbers of listings are off to 43 for a total of 269 and the median list price is up to $3.1. So looking back from 2000 to 2005 we had 196, 145, 183, 166 and 175 sales respectively. This is really a pretty remarkable example of stability. The median sales price from 2000 to 2005 went, $1.54, $1.565, $1.72, $2.39 to $2.58 with the big jump coming between 03 and 04. So as far as Montecito Real Estate is concerned the figures look pretty stable to me, and I certainly dont see a bubble there. Anyone in the world

By Charles Linden Only somebody who has lived with anxiety as either a sufferer or a carer knows how devastating it can be. The affect can be seen and felt across every aspect of your life for years and years. So how does anxiety make you withdraw from life? Basically, people with anxiety live their lives defensively, at a level where they are merely coping instead of embracing. They are lifes passengers, passive in their emotional and physical relationship with the world around them - rather than activists who engage with their surroundings and interact with people. Now I want to share something with you that will probably hopefully! shock you. Have you ever sat down with pen and paper and worked out how much time you spend feeling anxious every day of your life? An hour? Two? Four? Ten?! If you spend even a single hour a day in anxious mode, that equates to 30 hours a month thats two waking days every month where you could be playing with the kids, training for a marathon run, taking up a hobby, visiting old friends LIVING your life. Instead, youre wasting that valuable time on your anxiety. At its worst, I know my anxiety had reached the point where it took over 90% of my waking thoughts. It left me totally exhausted. Looking back, I now know that by allowing this anxiety to have such a huge stake in my life took real commitment on my behalf! So, I took control and by doing so, I was rewarded with all this extra time and all this additional energy with which to fill the hours in a positive way! What a bonus! I cannot tell you the sense of relief and liberation this sparked in me. And the most wonderful thing is, just as anxiety is a downward spiral that sees you withdraw from life, so this liberation is an uplifting cycle which grows and grows. Once you begin, you cant contain it! I know that if I hadn't taken control and eliminated my anxiety for good, Id still be on that downward spiral getting ever more sucked into the anxiety abyss where your every waking moment is dominated by fear. So, dont be afraid of the fear, the unknown. Instead, look forward to all the wonderful possibilities that YOUR life has yet to put your way! Looking at my family, Im so glad I faced up to my own fear. The answer is never in retreating from life its everything to do with defeating anxiety.
